Michael Wu, MS is a Data Scientist in the Emory Office of Well-Being. Michael is passionate about using data-driven insights to solve complex health challenges and improve lives. Before joining Emory, he worked at the CDC, where he helped modernize national surveillance systems to better understand health risks and guide action. His career spans community health programs in Uganda and Haiti, vaccine-preventable disease work, the COVID-19 response, cancer screening surveillance. At EmWELL, he leverages his diverse experience to use data-driven insights to understand the complex drivers of burnout and fulfillment. His work focuses on improving workplace efficiency, strengthening well-being, and helping Emory continue to be a great place to work and to receive care.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling, discovering new culinary experiences, and spending time in nature. An adventurer at heart, he values immersing himself in different cultures and embracing life as a global citizen.
