Alyssa G. Lyons, MSHA, is a healthcare strategy and organizational effectiveness leader with a passion for helping organizations solve complex challenges through thoughtful strategy, strong partnerships, and people-centered design. She currently serves as Program Manager for the WHSC Office of Well-Being (EmWELL) and brings 10 years of experience partnering with executive leaders across healthcare systems, academic medicine, and nonprofit organizations to lead enterprise initiatives focused on employee wellbeing, organizational transformation, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Through her work in healthcare environments, Alyssa has witnessed firsthand the toll that high-pressure clinical settings can take on clinicians and staff, deepening her commitment to advancing wellbeing as a critical component of sustainable, high-performing organizations.

Alyssa has overseen large-scale employee engagement and wellbeing programs, developed governance structures that improve collaboration and accountability, managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, and led strategic initiatives that have strengthened organizational performance while enhancing the employee experience. She is known for bringing clarity to ambiguity, building systems that create lasting impact, and translating big-picture vision into practical action.

Whether leading cross-functional initiatives, facilitating executive discussions, or developing communication strategies that inspire action, Alyssa believes lasting change happens when data, strategy, and human connection work together.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, as well as exploring creativity through visual design and art. She prioritizes her wellbeing through physical movement, including biking and Pilates, and by taking time to sit outside in the sun with a good book.
